Programme Director – Avaloq Harmonisation

About the role

Deutsche Bank Private Bank is transforming its target operating model and seeks a Programme Director to lead a global Avaloq Core Banking platform harmonisation across Europe and Asia. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of this multi‑year strategic programme, working with senior business, technology and risk stakeholders as well as external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Avaloq platform harmonisation, aligning with the bank’s technology strategy.
• Maintain overall programme accountability for scope, budget, risks and benefits, overseeing multiple workstreams across jurisdictions.
• Establish and chair executive governance forums, steering committees and design authority structures.
• Drive adoption of standard architectural principles, promote automation and AI‑enabled delivery, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead a globally distributed delivery organisation, building a high‑performing, inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large‑scale business and technology transformation programmes in global financial institutions.
• Proven track record delivering complex core banking or wealth‑management platform transformations, preferably with Avaloq.
• Strong stakeholder management, governance and risk‑control expertise.
• Deep understanding of private banking and wealth‑management processes.
