Project / Delivery Manager

About the role

This is a remote position based in Switzerland for an experienced Project / Delivery Manager. You will lead transformation initiatives, improve engineering delivery processes, and drive operational excellence across software development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery processes, ensuring projects meet business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to boost team effectiveness and time‑to‑market.
• Lead change‑management efforts, introducing new frameworks, best practices, and agile ceremonies.
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies, resource planning, and capacity across complex initiatives.
• Monitor delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, lead time, cycle time, CFD, burn‑down/up charts) and use data‑driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Configure and optimise Jira workflows, automation rules, dashboards, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to align expectations, communicate progress, and resolve delivery challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role with documented delivery‑process improvements.
• Hands‑on experience driving process change within software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and software development lifecycle practices.

Required skills

• Advanced Jira expertise (custom workflows, JQL, automation, reporting).
• Confluence usage for documentation and collaboration.
• Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, Lean.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
• Delivery metrics analysis (velocity, throughput, lead time, cycle time, CFD, burn‑down/up charts).
