Project Manager – Software & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager in IATA’s Information & Data division, you will lead the delivery of software products and infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle using Agile (Scrum) and, where appropriate, Waterfall methodologies.
• Allocate technical resources, develop schedules, estimate costs, and track inter‑dependencies.
• Coordinate with the PMO, I&D teams, vendors, and business owners to ensure compliance with IATA policies and the I&D Project Lifecycle.
• Produce status reports, manage risks and issues, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead project teams, assign responsibilities, and facilitate sprint planning and execution.
• Identify and remove impediments to maximise team performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering software and infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external vendors.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and traditional Waterfall project approaches.
