Projects Supplier Quality Leader - Configured Systems

About the role

The Projects Supplier Quality Leader (PSQL) is the primary strategic link between the Configured Systems Supplier Quality team and Project Management leadership. Reporting to the Global ConSys SQ Leader, the role aligns complex inspection planning with project demands so that supplier quality activities support project milestones. It also captures lessons learned and gives data-driven feedback to project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for Project Managers and PM leadership, translating project schedules into risk-based inspection plans aligned with project timelines.
• Produce performance reports for PMs covering inspection status and volume, top-offender suppliers, CAPA tracking, avoided Cost of Poor Quality and inspector benchmarks, plus proposals to optimize inspection frequency.
• Run the enterprise-wide process for capturing and sharing project-specific lessons learned across commodities and regions.
• Oversee the project inspection program, monitor performance against targets and escalate critical gaps to the Global Supplier Quality Leader.
• Work with Sourcing and Quality teams on supplier improvement initiatives and act as deputy for the EHS, QMS and Operations Supplier Quality Leader during absences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or an equivalent field.
• Significant experience in quality, operations/supply chain or project management.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Strong data analysis and experience with early warning systems.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification or working knowledge.
• Lead auditor certification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of GEV Gas Power or similar industry quality programs.
