Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager

About the role

As the Public Affairs & Government Relations Manager at Skyguide, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s political and regulatory agenda in Switzerland. You will build trusted relationships with decision‑makers, monitor legislative changes and ensure transparent corporate and sustainability reporting, positioning Skyguide as a reliable partner in the Swiss aviation ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement public affairs strategies, advocacy initiatives and stakeholder‑engagement plans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with political leaders, authorities, industry associations and interest groups.
• Monitor and analyse federal and relevant European legislative and regulatory developments.
• Assess policy impacts on Skyguide and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare position papers, briefings, speeches and presentations for executives.
• Lead the planning, coordination and publication of the Annual Report and ESG (Sustainability) Report.
• Collaborate with business units and the Executive Board to align public affairs activities.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives at the interface of public affairs and external stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• University degree in Political Science, Communications, Law or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Swiss public affairs, advocacy, stakeholder engagement and political communication, preferably within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Swiss legislative processes, political landscape and public administration, with an established professional network.
• Proven ability to analyse complex political and regulatory topics and translate them into clear business implications.
