Purchasing Specialist – Supply Chain

About the role

Flyability is looking for a proactive Purchasing Specialist to join its Supply Chain team in Lausanne. You will ensure that all materials needed for manufacturing, repairs, and product delivery are available on time, in the right quantities, and at the required quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous availability of production, repair and spare‑part materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and generate replenishment proposals using Odoo.
• Anticipate shortages and coordinate mitigation actions with internal stakeholders.
• Create, issue and track purchase orders in Odoo from creation to receipt.
• Build and maintain strong day‑to‑day relationships with suppliers, monitoring delivery performance.
• Support new product introductions by procuring new components on schedule.
• Implement MRP calculations and maintain procurement master data in the ERP system.

Required profile

• CFC, Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in purchasing/planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain processes and inventory management.
• Fluent in English (B2) and French.
