QA Specialist

About the role

Join the Quality Assurance team at a GMP manufacturing site and ensure the quality of all incoming materials. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to safeguard product integrity and support patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out incoming material checks according to site procedures and release them in LIMS.
• Qualify materials, perform physical inspections on receipt, and manage supplier documentation.
• Maintain the raw material supplier base, related SOPs, and quality systems.
• Process change notifications, quality alerts, and own material‑related deviations and change controls.
• Track and report KPIs on material qualification and release activities, escalating critical issues in compliance with GMP.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in quality assurance within a GMP environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical quality management systems.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in LIMS.
• Practical use of quality tools such as deviations, CAPA, and change control.
