Qualified Accountant – Swiss & French Accounts

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Qualified Accountant to join our team in Lugano. The role supports both our Swiss and French entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective cash‑flow management across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for Swiss and French entities, including general ledger, AP, AR and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end closings, statutory accounts and financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, provisions and pre‑payments.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting, VAT and tax regulations and stay aware of French requirements, liaising with local advisors as needed.
• Support corporate tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers and authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, payments and outstanding receivables.
• Maintain strong internal controls and company policy compliance.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar multi‑entity accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting, VAT and statutory requirements; familiarity with French accounting and VAT.
• Proven experience managing month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Experience working with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French.
