Quality Assurance Manager – Hybrid (Murten, Switzerland)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team in Murten. You will play a key role in ensuring that our non‑medical products meet the highest quality standards throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve key quality processes, particularly risk management and CAPA.
• Act as Design Quality Assurance partner for R&D product development projects.
• Review and approve design and project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Ensure that verification and validation activities meet applicable quality requirements.
• Review and approve proposed changes to products already on the market.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
• Promote a quality mindset through training, clear processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Engineering or scientific background (electronics, mechanics, physics, or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in Design Quality Assurance and risk management.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 experience is an advantage).
• Background in consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, or a comparable product‑driven industry.
• Good understanding of CAPA, product development, verification, and validation processes.
• Confident communication skills in English; German and/or French are a plus.
• Experience with electronic document or quality management systems is beneficial.
