Quality Manager & Lead Integrated Management System

About the role

The Quality Manager & Lead IMS ensures that Bayer's site delivers products and services that meet internal and external standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. You will maintain and continuously improve the Site Integrated Management System while driving quality initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Set and uphold quality, health, and safety standards in line with the Site Integrated Management System.
• Establish and manage documentation, control procedures, and legal requirements at site and country level.
• Implement Bayer policies, directives, and CAPA processes, supporting local and regional needs.
• Define and refine quality procedures together with operating staff.
• Utilize quality tools to guide managers and staff in business improvement.
• Maintain site certifications, act as the primary contact for authorities, and handle registration queries.
• Plan, execute, and track site audits in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Oversee site CAPA management and compile Management Reviews.
• Participate in Bayer quality communities and serve as the site liaison for the regional quality group.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, preferably focused on quality management; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Prior experience in quality management, ideally within fine‑chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and lead without formal authority.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in German is mandatory; good English skills are a plus.
