Quantitative Technology Analyst – Asset Management

About the role

Join a young, collaborative team at the intersection of quantitative analysis, portfolio management, fund selection and IT. As a Quantitative Technology Analyst you will act as the technical bridge between the quantitative team and the central IT department, supporting the design, evolution and industrialisation of internal analytical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with IT for infrastructure, databases, deployment processes, validation and governance.
• Develop, maintain and enhance web‑based applications used by portfolio managers, fund selectors and analysts.
• Design and implement robust software solutions following best practices.
• Model data, write complex SQL queries and ensure performance and reliability of relational databases.
• Participate in structured development workflows: version control (GIT), pull requests, code reviews, IT validation and production releases.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts, portfolio managers and business teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards, tools and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience combining development, data handling and interaction with IT teams, preferably in asset management, banking or a data‑driven environment.
• Strong data analysis skills applied to business or financial use cases.
