Raw Material Performance Engineer

About the role

The Raw Material Performance Engineer will support global mineral processing and quarry operations by applying technical expertise, driving process optimization, and fostering innovation. Working closely with operations, geology, mining, and engineering teams, you will help improve plant performance and evaluate new processing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support commissioning, optimization, and troubleshooting of mineral processing plants.
• Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Evaluate new technologies and develop business cases for process enhancements.
• Manage laboratory and pilot‑scale testing programs in collaboration with external partners.
• Provide technical and R&D support across the organization.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mineral processing, mining, or process engineering.
• Experience with plant commissioning and optimization is a plus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Self‑driven, collaborative and able to manage projects independently.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
