Raw Material Production & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Manager to lead raw material production and supply chain activities, ensuring reliable, compliant, and scalable delivery of products for global operations. The role works closely with Quality, Regulatory, Production, Logistics and external manufacturing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and operations across all partners to guarantee uninterrupted product availability.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation, capacity expansion, or alternative production pathways.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, documentation workflows and cross‑functional communication.
• Support QA audits, supplier qualifications and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Oversee contract manufacturers and warehouses through remote monitoring and on‑site visits, ensuring cGMP and regulatory adherence.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, guaranteeing timely, cost‑effective and compliant transportation.
• Collaborate with Finance for inventory reconciliations, material movement reporting and periodic closings.
• Enhance process standards across production, release, logistics and quality operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Supply Chain, Chemistry, Engineering or related).
• 5+ years experience in raw material management, supply chain or production operations.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, traceability systems and regulated ingredient handling.
• Experience with local and international contract manufacturers and global logistics networks.
• Excellent communication skills, high autonomy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally and authorized to work in Switzerland.
