R&D Project Manager – Nutrition & Health

About the role

Join Nestlé Nutrition & Health as an R&D Project Manager and lead medium‑sized projects that shape the future of adult and maternal nutrition. You will drive innovations from concept through delivery, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, cost, and timing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end R&D projects following Nestlé’s I2L framework and Continuous Excellence methodology.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across R&D, business, and operations.
• Ensure products and processes comply with quality, regulatory, and cost targets.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to support decision‑making.
• Coach and develop project team members to build sustainable capabilities.
• Engage stakeholders to secure alignment and timely decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in food science, engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience, including at least 3 years in project management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding of I2L processes, product briefing practices, and regulatory, quality, costing, and IP considerations.
