R&D Senior Engineer – Product Engineering & Electromechanical Systems

About the role

We are seeking a senior R&D engineer with a strong passion for product engineering, electromechanical systems and industrial manufacturing. The role involves developing and improving low‑voltage electromechanical products in an international, cross‑functional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities across cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Support development and continuous improvement of low‑voltage electromechanical products.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Design and optimise mechanical and electrical interfaces and components.
• Assist with product industrialisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in product or mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of low‑voltage or electromechanical products.
• Experience with plastic and metallic part design, manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
