Refrigerated Van Driver & Logistics Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

Greenchef is seeking a reliable part‑time driver to operate a small refrigerated van and support logistics across Switzerland. The role combines vehicle operation, customs handling and direct delivery of premium food products to restaurant clients.

Key responsibilities

• Travel once a week to the Italian border to collect goods and manage customs clearance.
• Pick up shipments from Zurich Airport on a weekly basis.
• Deliver temperature‑controlled products to restaurants throughout Switzerland, ensuring proper handling and temperature control.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and delivery schedules.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, customs officers and restaurant clients.
• Keep the van clean and in good operating condition.
• Later assume additional warehouse logistics responsibilities.

Required profile

• Valid Swiss or EU driving licence.
• Fluency in English or German; Italian is a plus.
• Experience driving vans or refrigerated vehicles is preferred.
• Familiarity with Swiss road network and ability to travel nationwide.
• Basic understanding of customs clearance procedures is advantageous.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy and able to work independently.
