Relationship Manager for External Asset Managers

About the role

coni + partner, a Zurich-based staffing consultancy, is recruiting on behalf of its client, a private bank in Zurich, for a Relationship Manager for External Asset Managers (EAM). The role covers the full lifecycle of EAM clients, from onboarding and order handling to portfolio management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage, expand and maintain an EAM client portfolio
• Support EAM clients in developing solutions and processes together with the Advisory and Research, Risk Management and IT teams
• Review and monitor client orders, credit lines and investment maturities
• Oversee administrative matters and provide prompt, high-quality service
• Manage retrocessions and associated commissions
• Acquire and onboard new EAM clients and regularly review the client portfolio
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements such as KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS and MiFID, and advise clients accordingly
• Plan and conduct training sessions as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance; AZEK, CFA or CWMA certification preferred
• Solid experience serving EAM clients and a proven track record of building new client relationships
• Sales-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial thinking and strong service orientation
• In-depth knowledge of investment products across all asset classes and portfolio composition
• Strong knowledge of compliance, including cross-border matters
• German and English

• Ability to identify and interpret client needs and to give presentations
