Remote Junior Social Media Manager (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Junior Social Media Manager to lead our Instagram and Facebook presence for a Shopify‑based pet essentials brand targeting the US market. You will create authentic, premium‑quality content that resonates with pet owners while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a monthly content calendar for Instagram and Facebook, including posts, reels, stories, and captions.
• Produce on‑brand graphics, photos, and short‑form videos tailored to pet lovers.
• Write engaging copy that reflects the brand’s tone and values.
• Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
• Respond to comments and messages to foster community interaction.
• Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to inform future content plans.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, preferably for e‑commerce or consumer brands.
• Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with a passion for pets and pet‑related content.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
