Remote Social Media Manager – Animal Welfare Storytelling

About the role

This remote position focuses on elevating the digital presence of an animal welfare initiative. You will turn supplied footage into short‑form video narratives that engage donors across the US, India, and worldwide, while shaping the organization’s voice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a platform‑specific content calendar.
• Edit and produce short‑form videos from provided footage, ensuring high engagement.
• Write captions and publish posts on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics to refine future campaigns.
• Collaborate on creative concepts that strengthen emotional connections with donors.
• Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations, especially with video content.
• Strong storytelling ability and capacity to craft engaging captions for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking social media performance.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple platforms and deadlines.
• Passion for animal welfare and ability to convey that passion through digital storytelling.
