Restaurant Manager – Altura Italian Coastal Dining

About the role

Lead the overall operation of Altura, the Italian Coastal all‑day dining restaurant at The Park Gstaad, a Four Seasons Hotel. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will own the guest experience, team leadership, operational excellence and financial performance across breakfast, lunch, dinner and terrace service during the 2027 summer season.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Altura Restaurant operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner and terrace service.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing team, fostering engagement, accountability and service excellence.
• Ensure exceptional service quality, guest recognition and consistent execution of the Italian Coastal concept.
• Drive revenue, profitability, labour productivity and manage operating expenses.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Beverage and other operational teams for seamless guest experiences.
• Build strong relationships with guests, owners and repeat visitors, handling service recovery and personalised experiences.
• Prepare the outlet for seasonal promotions, special events, terrace activations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum four years of leadership experience in luxury restaurants, luxury hotels, all‑day dining or fine‑dining environments.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams while delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences.
• Strong operational and commercial understanding, including revenue, profitability, labour productivity and cost management.
• Fluent in English and German and/or French; additional languages are advantageous.
• Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship or valid Swiss work authorization.
