Risk Specialist – Credit & Structured Products

About the role

Join the Risk Management Department of an International Private Bank to support the growth of the Wealth Management lending book. You will work closely with front‑office lending teams and client advisors, structuring non‑standard transactions and providing risk‑mitigation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lending teams to structure and document non‑standard credit transactions.
• Analyze, document and approve credit risk for structured products across cash, derivatives, fixed income, equities, hedge funds and illiquid assets such as private equity, real estate, aircraft and art.
• Determine collateral values for new securities, including structured notes, emerging‑market instruments and alternative investments.
• Monitor a sub‑portfolio of counterparties within Wealth Management EMEA and handle daily lending value shortfall monitoring.
• Communicate risk decisions transparently and contribute to ongoing risk‑management projects.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in credit risk analysis.
• Strong understanding of alternative and illiquid investments and their valuation drivers.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a strong advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to convey complex risk topics to senior management.
