Sales Associate (German Speaker)

About the role

TransPerfect, a global leader in language services and technology, is hiring a Sales Associate who speaks German. The role develops new business relationships and acts as the first level of support to existing clients. Key responsibilities

• Understand the capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages of TransPerfect's services
• Identify prospective customers and organisations to focus on sales activities
• Develop new client relationships through cold calling, the internet and trade shows
• With Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop and close sales opportunities
• Educate clients on TransPerfect's services
• Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Production Management Team
• Manage pricing and contractual issues by understanding company procedures
• Learn each client's industry, business needs and company culture to spot new opportunities
• Carry out special projects or duties when required

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Superior written and spoken German and English
• Previous experience in a high-tech environment
• Ability to analyse revenues, monitor budgets and make other calculations
• Willingness to travel to offsite client or sales meetings

Required skills

• Familiarity with web technologies, desktop publishing software, databases and networks
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
