Sales Manager – Retail & Distribution

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across a portfolio of retail and distribution partners in Switzerland. You will act as the primary commercial liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution, high client satisfaction, and sustainable revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Expand existing client accounts and identify opportunities to grow product assortment and revenue.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, coordinating with internal teams for commercial and operational initiatives.
• Develop and manage long‑term client relationships, delivering tailored commercial solutions.
• Prepare commercial proposals, support contract negotiations, and execute agreements.
• Create and evaluate client‑specific promotional and pricing strategies.
• Conduct regular store and client visits to assess needs, strengthen relationships, and support merchandising.
• Train retail staff on product knowledge, positioning, and sales techniques.
• Monitor account performance, track forecasts, and report market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in retail, consumer goods, furniture, or bedding.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of growing accounts and driving profitable revenue.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑starter with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent English (C2); additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly and a valid driving licence.
