SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Consultant to join our partner’s team in Switzerland. The consultant will design, develop and maintain integration solutions that connect SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications with non‑SAP systems, supporting large‑scale digital transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite while adhering to clean‑core principles.
• Develop, configure and maintain iFlows in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) across complex enterprise landscapes.
• Implement API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh and other SAP BTP services to enable secure data exchange.
• Build integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur and external platforms such as Salesforce and Workday.
• Create mappings, transformations, routing logic and error‑handling mechanisms.
• Configure authentication (OAuth, SAML, certificates) and ensure integration security.
• Support testing, deployment, transport management and production hyper‑care.
• Monitor interfaces, troubleshoot issues and perform root‑cause analysis to optimise performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in SAP technical consulting with a focus on integration solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced transformation projects.

Required skills

• SAP Integration Suite (CPI) – iFlows, API Management, OData, REST, SOAP, IDocs.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud/hybrid integration patterns.
• Experience integrating SAP with non‑SAP applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, legacy systems).
• Integration security concepts – OAuth, SAML, certificates, secure communication standards.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP services such as Event Mesh and Open Connectors.
