Science Teacher (Middle & High School)

About the role

The Collège du Léman is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to deliver engaging science instruction to Middle School (Secondaire) and potentially High School students. The role begins on 13 August 2026 and is full‑time, supporting both day‑boarders and boarding students in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver science lessons aligned with the school curriculum for Middle School, with the possibility of teaching Chemistry at High School level.
• Assess student work, record grades in the online grade book, and produce timely school reports.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams to ensure coherent instruction across subjects.
• Promote the school’s RISE values—Respect, Internationalism, Spirit, Excellence—and contribute to a caring, inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Serve as a homeroom advisor if assigned, supporting students’ wellbeing and personal development.
• Participate in additional duties and school activities as required.

Required profile

• Relevant science degree together with a teaching qualification; a Master’s in pedagogy is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Middle and/or High School science in an international school setting, preferably to non‑native English speakers.
• Ability to address the needs of students with diagnosed learning differences.
• Fluency in English (native level) and strong organisational skills.
