Scientist – Pharmacopeia Solutions

About the role

The Scientist – Pharmacopeia Solutions will act as the primary link between the laboratory team and the Analytical Manager, ensuring smooth communication and technical alignment across all analytical activities. The role combines administrative duties with hands‑on experimental and analytical laboratory work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute method development and validation projects, preparing GMP‑compliant documentation such as SOPs, protocols and reports.
• Perform and supervise analyses including CHNSO combustion, TOC/TNb analytics, titration (Karl Fischer, argentometry, ISE) and cleaning‑validation studies.
• Provide operational support, troubleshooting daily laboratory issues and taking ownership of advanced analytical challenges.
• Manage projects to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality results and maintain meticulous GMP‑compliant records.
• Oversee analytical instrumentation, ensuring data integrity, routine maintenance and coordination with external suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Analytical Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands‑on experience with raw material testing, titration techniques, CHNSO combustion, TOC/TNb analytics and cleaning‑validation sample preparation.
• Familiarity with quality systems, GMP processes and related documentation (quality events, deviations, OOS investigations).
• Strong scientific writing, excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, able to work independently while maintaining high accuracy.
