Security Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Security Lead to define and drive the security strategy for a cloud-native, AI-focused technology platform. Based in Switzerland and operating in a remote-first environment, you will combine hands-on technical work with cross-functional leadership to protect infrastructure, applications and corporate IT.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve security across cloud, application and corporate environments.
• Design and maintain secure AWS architectures, IAM, network security and configuration management.
• Drive application security initiatives, including threat modeling, secure development practices and automated testing.
• Own the incident response program, develop playbooks and coordinate response actions.
• Manage vulnerability identification, prioritisation and remediation with engineering teams.
• Maintain and optimise security tooling such as monitoring, logging, SIEM, alerting, endpoint protection and secrets management.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in architecture decisions and support ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance.
• Lead customer-facing security reviews and continuously enhance the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security or application security.
• Proven ability to lead security initiatives in fast-growing, remote-first organisations.
