Security Manager – Global FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a Security Manager to lead the security strategy, operations, and governance for a fast‑growing global fintech organization. This remote position will shape the cybersecurity roadmap, build a high‑performing security team, and embed security practices across engineering, compliance, and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute short‑ and long‑term security strategy aligned with business growth.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for security operations, monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Own the security governance framework, including policies, standards, controls, and maturity improvements.
• Partner with engineering to implement application, infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint security.
• Build and enhance security monitoring, detection, response, and incident management capabilities.
• Manage third‑party security risks through vendor assessments and ongoing risk processes.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to meet regulatory expectations.
• Promote security awareness through training initiatives.
• Establish metrics and reporting to communicate risk and performance to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security teams in technology or high‑growth environments.
• Broad expertise across security operations, cloud, application, infrastructure, and GRC.
• Experience designing incident response processes and threat intelligence programs.
• Strong technical understanding of securing cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Track record of creating scalable security policies, standards, and controls.
