Senior Account Manager

About the role

Descartes is seeking a passionate Senior Account Manager to own and expand customer and partner relationships across Switzerland. You will work closely with Professional Services and internal teams to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key customers and partners.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention and upsell opportunities.
• Lead contract renewals and ensure accurate, timely execution.
• Visit customers and partners regularly throughout Switzerland.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Customer Support and other international teams.

Required profile

• Seasoned professional with deep expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
• Strong understanding of Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) and Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) processes.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles with a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to influence senior executives and clearly articulate value of EDI solutions.
• Self‑starter, team player, energetic and resilient in a fast‑paced B2B SaaS environment.
