Senior AI Engineer - Generative AI for Investment

About the role

DXC Luxoft is hiring a Senior AI Engineer in Zurich, Switzerland, to develop and productionize advanced Generative AI solutions for investment and financial-services use cases. The focus is on LLM fine-tuning, model adaptation, evaluation and deployment, and on contributing to RAG and agentic AI platforms that integrate enterprise data and cloud-based AI services to support front-office investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop existing and new modules within core applications supporting front-office investment teams, delivering new functionality, data capabilities and smaller enhancements and fixes.
• Engage with IT and business stakeholders, understand business problems and offer technical solutions, taking ownership of deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, practices and SDLC maturity.
• Work with quants and traders to build, support and maintain a quantitative trading and risk optimization platform.
• Improve productivity through automation where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise-grade developer roles.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AI-specific applications in an enterprise context, including guiding, reviewing or coordinating other engineers.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Track record of building and leading delivery of generative AI applications for financial services (trading, compliance, customer support); fixed income experience (bonds, FX, credit) preferred.
• Experience designing and owning multi-step RAG pipelines with Azure Cognitive Search, and developing autonomous AI agents with OpenAI's Agents SDK.
• Experience fine-tuning or adapting LLMs (LoRA, PEFT) and working with open-weight models such as Llama, Mistral/Mixtral, Qwen, Gemma or Phi.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and observability tools in regulated environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
