Senior ASP.NET Developer

About the role

A company is looking for a Senior ASP.NET Developer with proven experience building web applications and backend services in C# and ASP.NET Core. The ideal candidate has a strong software design background, applying SOLID principles, key design patterns and modern architectures, and experience with distributed systems and asynchronous communication.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements.
• Design robust and scalable software solutions.
• Develop web applications and REST APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Apply SOLID principles and design patterns effectively.
• Implement asynchronous processes using NServiceBus and RabbitMQ.
• Design components following Clean Architecture principles.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers and other developers.
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews and development best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in web application and backend service development with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong software design background with practical use of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience building distributed systems and asynchronous communication.

Required skills

• C#, ASP.NET Core, Clean Code, SOLID, Repository and Unit of Work patterns, CQRS, Clean Architecture, DDD, Event-Driven Architectures, Distributed Systems.
• NServiceBus and RabbitMQ, queue and message management, retry mechanisms, dead letter queues, consumer idempotency, async events and commands.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure.
