Senior Associate/Manager – Liquidity & Funding Consulting

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate or Manager to join its Financial Services Consulting team in Zurich, focusing on Liquidity & Funding (L&F). You will work closely with banking clients to transform their liquidity and funding practices, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment in a rising‑interest‑rate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for liquidity and funding services.
• Lead projects for major banks, delivering solutions to measure, manage, and optimise liquid assets.
• Collaborate with Finance, Restructuring, and Risk teams to integrate liquidity insights into broader risk frameworks.
• Continuously enhance the L&F service offering and provide thought leadership within the banking sector.
• Partner with data‑analytics and AI teams to leverage advanced analytics for client solutions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in banking, finance, or consulting, preferably with exposure to liquidity, funding, or risk management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high‑impact results.

Required skills

• Knowledge of liquidity management, funding strategies, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with data‑analysis concepts and emerging technologies such as AI and big‑data tools.
