Senior Auditor - Financial Services

About the role

EY's Assurance Financial Services department performs audit and advisory services for national and international financial services providers. As a Senior Auditor in this department in Zurich, you will work on audits of some of Switzerland's largest financial institutions, gaining exposure to complex banking environments, global audit teams and cross-border engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction, keeping in close contact with the client throughout the year
• Help coordinate the translation of the audit strategy into detailed audit programmes
• Take part in audits of local and international financial service providers preparing financial statements under Swiss or international accounting standards
• Deliver FINMA supplementary audits on special audit topics

Required profile

• At least 2 to 4 years of audit experience, ideally in banking, asset management, insurance or the broader financial services industry
• Currently pursuing the Swiss CPA qualification
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken; French is a strong asset
• Assertive, proactive, organized, able to network in large organisations and to lead audit workstreams and supervise junior team members

• Thorough understanding of the business environment, processes and systems landscape in financial services
