Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (German Speaking)

About the role

Join Xebia’s CEE team as a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, working on modern cloud platforms for high‑profile clients. You will design, maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure while leveraging AI tools to boost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes in Azure.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code, primarily using Terraform.
• Work with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and observability solutions using Grafana, Checkmk or equivalent.
• Integrate security checks into pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
• Apply AI tools for code/script generation, automation and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to Agile delivery using SAFe, Scrum or similar frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps experience with strong Azure expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Grafana and Checkmk.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for DevOps tasks.
• Understanding of security practices and integration of security checks.
• Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe, Scrum).
• German at C1/native level (understanding of Swiss German) and English B2 or higher.
• Willingness to work onsite in Zurich up to 40% of the time and legal right to work in the EU.
