About the role
Vontobel’s IT Security division in Zurich is looking for a senior‑level Blockchain Engineer and Architect to join an agile team. You will work on cutting‑edge crypto‑custody solutions and help shape the security architecture of complex projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software related to blockchain technology and other security solutions.
- Design and implement security architecture, taking technical ownership of the solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, enterprise‑grade crypto custody services.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a focus on IT.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in blockchain and IT security.
- Highly motivated, agile, and eager to take responsibility and continuously improve expertise.
Required skills
- In‑depth technical expertise in blockchain solutions (DLT, smart contracts, multi‑sig, BIP39, derivation paths, key ceremonies).
- Experience developing secure software for enterprise‑grade crypto custody.
- Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools and willingness to adopt them.
