Senior Cloud Project Manager – Modern Workplace

About the role

This position is focused on modern workplace cloud migrations and reports directly to the Head of PM/SDM. The role is based in Switzerland (Bern or Zurich) with a hybrid work model – three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver cloud migration projects, managing timeline, quality, scope and budget.
• Prepare proposals for RFPs in collaboration with pre‑sales and technical teams.
• Act as the main client contact during build and run phases.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); Swiss German is a plus.
• Passionate about technology, eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Strong driver of projects with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience managing small to medium‑size IT projects involving development and operations.

Required skills

• Practical experience in IT project management and ITIL.
• Modern Workplace solutions, Microsoft 365.
• Virtualisation: VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Container platforms: Docker, OpenShift, OKD, Kubernetes.
• Networking fundamentals – firewalling, routing, switching.
• Software‑defined infrastructure and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
