Senior Compliance Onboarding Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Onboarding Specialist to join the client onboarding compliance team of a Swiss private bank. You will support the opening of new client accounts, ensuring that all procedures meet Swiss and international regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process client onboarding and new account opening for complex structures across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct KYC analysis in collaboration with the front office.
• Participate in due‑diligence reviews and verify documentation to satisfy compliance requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for account‑opening issues.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects such as onboarding process improvements and IT system enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of KYC and account‑opening compliance experience in a Swiss private bank.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and international banking regulations.
• Experience with complex structures and multiple jurisdictions.
• Business‑mindset, adaptability, autonomy and solution‑orientation.
• Team player with excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Swiss residency is mandatory.
• Certificate in Compliance Management is a plus.

Required skills

• Good understanding of IT systems used for compliance processes.
