Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager – Corporate Tax

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager to provide tax guidance to national and international firms on a range of business activities, and to support the transformation of tax functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on tax implications for mergers & acquisitions, reorganizations, financing, real estate transactions, supply chain operations and broader transformations.
• Assist clients with tax compliance, tax accounting and the redesign of tax functions.
• Integrate national and international tax laws into analyses and recommendations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams across KPMG.
• Support the development and growth of junior team members.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Swiss master’s degree in finance or law, or enrollment in the Swiss Certified Tax Expertise program.
• 3‑5 years of corporate tax experience in Switzerland within multinational environments, Big 4 firms or fiduciaries serving international clients.
• Strong interest in business management and Swiss/international corporate tax law.
• Analytical, logical and adaptive skills, especially in finance and accounting.
• Process‑oriented thinking, effective communication and a passion for digital innovation.
• High customer focus, teamwork orientation and dedication.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
