Senior Consultant - Assurance - Technology Risk

About the role

EY's Consulting business offers functional and cross-country advisory services focused on business transformation programs. This Senior Consultant position in Assurance - Technology Risk is based in Basel and involves auditing operational IT systems and information portals for internal control, risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate and optimize processes, structures and systems in IT environments
• Audit operational IT systems and information portals for internal control, risk and compliance
• Carry out migration tests, third-party attestation and certification, IT risk assessments and information security assessments
• Contribute to data analytics and information management activities
• Work in interdisciplinary specialist teams and grow expertise through projects, training and courses

Required profile

• Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Economics or Business Information Technology
• 3-4 years of experience in IT audits (e.g. at a Big Four firm or internal audit department) or in IT risk management / operational risk management, preferably at an international company
• German and English, as EY is a Swiss international company

Required skills

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC are an advantage
• Teamwork, determination, commitment and quick comprehension
