(Senior) Consultant - Business Consulting, Platform Experience

About the role

EY's Business Consulting team in Zurich is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant in its Financial Services practice. You will contribute to strategic transformation programs across Wealth & Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets and Insurance. The role suits professionals with approximately 2 to 5 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support platform implementation projects for large financial services platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp, Temenos or Avaloq, including configuration, testing and rollout.
• Work with client stakeholders to define and document business and technical requirements.
• Partner with technology and build teams to turn business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Contribute to agile product delivery, such as print planning and backlog grooming.
• Help design and deliver platform-enabled operating models that improve efficiency, scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Apply EY methodologies and accelerators to ensure successful integration, adoption and change management.
• Present insights and recommendations to clients in a structured, data-driven way.
• Help build client relationships and support account development.

Required profile

• Ideally 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial services or consulting.
• Background in requirements engineering, including stakeholder interviews, documentation and validation.
• Strong academic background from a recognised university or university of applied sciences.
• Fluent English; German strongly preferred, German or other languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp, Temenos or Avaloq.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
