Senior Consultant - Forensics eDiscovery Services

About the role

EY's Forensic Technology & eDiscovery department is looking for a Senior Consultant to help develop and integrate its Forensic Technology and eDiscovery service offering in the Zurich market. The team works on projects across Switzerland and in large cross-border cases worldwide, applying technical know-how to large international eDiscovery projects and IT investigations and cyber incident response cases.

Key responsibilities

• In engagement teams, carry out reactive and proactive data analysis of large volumes of unstructured and structured data
• Work with clients, fraud investigators, auditors, lawyers and regulatory authorities in sensitive and sometimes adversarial situations
• Develop new methodologies and processes and bring solutions to current and future clients
• Support the leadership team and project manager operationally and act as a role model for junior team members

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery and digital investigation in a reputable consulting or eDiscovery firm
• Assertive, proactive approach to project delivery and implementation, and strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and German; another language is a plus

Required skills

• At least 3 years of experience with Relativity, Nuix, SQL and other modern eDiscovery tools
• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and security, and a high-level understanding of at least one programming or scripting language
• Use of advanced data analysis methods such as machine learning, correlation engines, social network analysis, predictive coding and automation
