Senior Consultant – Strategy & Data/AI Transformation

About the role

Artefact is looking for a Senior Consultant to work at the intersection of strategy consulting and AI delivery in its Zurich/Lausanne office. You will help clients shape AI‑driven business models, governance and transformation roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑focused strategies with client leadership, addressing high‑stakes questions on business model redesign and data governance.
• Break down complex challenges into actionable decisions, combining consulting rigor with practical AI knowledge.
• Design solutions that translate business questions into data, platform and product requirements, collaborating with data scientists and engineers.
• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, from hypothesis framing and market analysis to data maturity assessments, workshops and implementation roadmaps.
• Engage C‑level stakeholders, build trusted relationships and communicate recommendations clearly.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Economics or related field.
• 3‑5 years of consulting or client‑facing technical/data roles.
• Strong business acumen combined with fluency in modern AI concepts and their practical limitations.
• Hands‑on experience building AI or data products, with the ability to justify model choices and cost implications.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills; fluent in German/French and English.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
