Senior Consultant – Tax Reimagined

About the role

We are expanding our Tax Reimagined team in Zurich and are looking for a Senior Consultant who thrives on tax transformation and the integration of technology in finance. You will support the delivery of Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) projects and help shape the future of tax services for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deliver GCMS projects, including local tax and finance filings in Switzerland.
• Deploy and configure technology solutions such as Digital Gateway and KBAT to enhance tax services.
• Facilitate Tax Reimagined Discovery Workshops with target clients.
• Design and deliver tax transformation solutions, covering process redesign, control frameworks, upskilling, change management, and technology implementation.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities, liaise with international clients and KPMG overseas teams, and manage offshore resources.
• Prepare governance meeting content and support business development by creating proposals and presentations.

Required profile

• Experience in tax services, preferably within a Big Four or professional services firm, or a corporate in‑house role.
• Good knowledge of Swiss tax models, processes, and regulations, or a strong willingness to acquire this knowledge quickly.
• Demonstrated experience in tax compliance and finance filings.
• Ability to contribute to workshops and manage transformation projects, with ambition to lead workstreams over time.
• Solid project coordination skills, client‑service focus, and ability to meet deadlines.
