Senior Cost Manager – Construction Economics

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to support commercial, office and retail projects in Switzerland. The role involves managing the full cost lifecycle from feasibility studies through to final account, ensuring accurate cost control and client reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, procurement and tender documentation, and manage contract administration, variations and final accounts.
• Conduct feasibility studies, write procurement reports and develop detailed cost plans.
• Lead tendering activities, including pre‑qualification, tender analysis, and compilation of contractual documents.
• Produce monthly post‑contract cost reports and present findings to clients.
• Perform cost risk analysis, support value engineering, and manage change control processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of cost management experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Fluent French (C1 or native) and strong English communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities with a collaborative approach to stakeholder relationships.

• Proficiency with multiple estimating tools and applications.
• Strong expertise in spreadsheets and databases for cost modelling.
