Senior CPU Compiler Performance Engineer

About the role

Join NVIDIA's compiler organization to design and develop high‑performance CPU compiler software that enables AI, HPC and data‑center workloads on NVIDIA CPUs. You will work closely with hardware teams and upstream open‑source communities to drive hardware‑software co‑design.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a geographically distributed partner organization to understand, modify and improve CPU compiler software.
• Analyze AI workloads and champion improvements in both new hardware and the compiler toolchain.
• Contribute new features and optimisation techniques targeting NVIDIA CPUs, engaging with upstream and open‑source communities.
• Develop compiler software optimised for performance and support next‑generation compute platforms.

Required profile

• BS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in compiler development or related academic projects.
• Strong hands‑on C++ programming skills and good CPU architecture knowledge.
• Experience with pre‑silicon hardware/software co‑design and low‑level performance analysis.
