Senior Director, External Manufacturing – EMEA

About the role

The Senior Director, External Manufacturing (EM) for EMEA will lead the development and execution of regional EM strategies, ensuring resilience, margin growth and sustainability across Kenvue’s external manufacturing network. Reporting to the VP of MAKE EMEA, this fully onsite role is based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland and serves as the single point of contact for external manufacturer performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall performance of EMEA external manufacturing sites, ensuring standards and excellence initiatives are implemented.
• Drive the Resilience Program by identifying and activating multiple supply sources and incremental capacity to meet dynamic demand.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing the CIP funnel and executing Type II operational excellence projects.
• Accountable for external manufacturing service levels, lead times and inventory targets.
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with Kenvue’s Healthy Lives Mission.
• Define EM site strategy in line with network strategy and create operational plans balancing EM and IM components.
• Translate commercial strategy into clear goals and influence cross‑functional partners (R&D, Quality, Finance, IT, etc.) to align on EM priorities.
• Contribute to strategic and value‑stream projects tied to business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience managing external manufacturing or supply‑chain networks at a regional or global level.
• Strong track record in building resilience, capacity planning and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead sustainability initiatives within manufacturing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence across matrixed organizations.
• Strategic mindset with capability to translate business goals into actionable operational plans.
