Senior EHS Manager – Safety & Environmental Protection

About the role

The Senior EHS Manager will develop and execute the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy for the Selzach site, aiming for the long‑term goal of zero accidents. This role serves as the primary EHS contact for the site and its apprentice shop, liaising with corporate EHS and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define EHS goals and align the local strategy with corporate objectives.
• Act as Sicherheitsbeauftragter and Gefahrgutbeauftragter for the site, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Maintain certification status, manage risk documentation, and drive continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
• Coordinate with critical contractors and the local Facility Services provider to ensure EHS compliance.
• Serve as point of contact for cantonal authorities and handle annual environmental reporting.

Required profile

• Technical background with advanced education in industrial engineering, building service engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 5‑10 years of relevant EHS experience, including knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Fluent in German and English, self‑motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
• Service‑oriented, innovative, business‑minded and diplomatic in a corporate environment.
