Senior Financial Controller – International Industrial Company

About the role

We are seeking a motivated finance professional to join an international industrial company as a Senior Financial Controller. Working closely with the Group CFO, you will gain broad exposure to accounting, controlling, reporting and consolidation in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Participate in group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Prepare management reports and performance analyses.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor financial performance and investigate variances.
• Contribute to cost controlling and operational performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with VAT, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support ERP and finance process optimisation projects.
• Participate in internal control and compliance activities.
• Work closely with operational departments and international colleagues.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of experience in accounting, controlling or audit.
• Practical exposure to month‑end closings and financial reporting.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or international environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach.
• Curious, proactive and willing to take ownership.
• Comfortable working on both operational and project‑related topics.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
