Senior HR Business Partner – HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

About the role

As a Senior HR Business Partner you will ensure smooth, compliant and employee‑centric HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders while owning core HR processes such as administration, payroll coordination, time and absence management, and workforce reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned business units, providing guidance on policies, procedures and employment matters.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contract preparation, internal transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leave management and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS, prepare contracts and HR documentation, and ensure compliance with labour laws and audit requirements.
• Act as the main interface between HR and payroll providers, preparing and validating monthly payroll inputs and resolving discrepancies.
• Support workforce planning, organizational changes and employee movements, and advise managers on lifecycle‑related topics.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR operations or HR business partnering within an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour legislation, HR policies and payroll processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.

• HRIS (human resources information system) proficiency
