Senior IT Lead – Asset Onboarding & Integration Delivery

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Senior IT Lead to drive the onboarding of new assets and trading capabilities onto its strategic order execution platform. You will act as the primary technology liaison across business, operations, technology teams, vendors and external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, solution design, security design and technical delivery coordination for asset onboarding and order execution integration.
• Implement FIX connectivity, trading interfaces and integration solutions across internal and external platforms.
• Translate functional specifications into test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end testing activities, including connectivity, system integration, user acceptance, security testing and migration validation.
• Manage technical dependencies, risks, defects and delivery timelines to ensure production readiness.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering trading technology, execution services and asset onboarding in private banking, wealth management or capital markets.
• Strong analytical and business analysis skills with a proven ability to convert requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios.
• Hands‑on experience with FIX connectivity, SWIFT messaging, securities and fund trading workflows.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology and migration initiatives using Agile methodologies and structured governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
